In February 2012, we celebrated our 40th Anniversary as manufacturers' reps and distributor. Looking back, we've come a long way since then. When Lee Bassett founded Fi-Tech, he represented three manufacturers of specialized components for the Synthetic Fibers Industry. We've grown and diversified throughout the years and now, as one of the oldest and largest rep firms in the industry, we represent the most technologically advanced manufacturers in the Polymer, Synthetic Fibers, Nonwovens, Textile, Converting, Perforating, and Tobacco Industries. We are dedicated to being there for you year after year.

In 1995, following the establishment of the NAFTA Free Trade Zone, we opened our satellite office in Mexico. This office continues to grow to serve the expanding market in Mexico and Latin America. Today, Fi-Tech de Mexico operates from a 7500 square foot office/warehouse in San Luis Potosi, Mexico allow us to import directly from our European and US suppliers and to keep valuable stock on hand for just in time deliveries in the region.

In 2016, Fi-Tech moved into our new world headquarters in Richmond, VA. This 17,000 square foot facility doubled the useable space we previously had to serve our principals and our customers. We are investing in our future to remain your trusted partner.
